What makes your company or work environment unique?

AmeriHealth Caritas New Hampshire is highly mission driven. We are proud to serve over 55,000 fellow community members across the state by providing them with access to high quality and timely health care. And we have fun together!

What accomplishments within your company are you most proud of?

We focus on the total needs of each member we serve – what we call the social determinants of life. So, if our member needs a ride to the doctor, or a ramp to get into their home, or help with nutrition – we are there. In New Hampshire we led the way with adult dental benefits, providing them at our expense when no one else did.

What advice would you give to up-and-coming leaders in the greater Manchester community?

To help yourself by helping others: show love and bring people together by finding ways to serve our community.

What attributes do you think makes our business community and greater Manchester region special?

The Manchester business community stands out for being willing to talk about real issues and then act on them. For example, when the homeless shelters overflowed this winter quick action was taken to establish temporary shelters to help citizens get safely through the cold. We were proud to join others in supporting this effort.
