T

he Greater Manchester Chamber (GMC) has recently hired Holly Horst to fill the new role of Director of Membership & Sponsorship, marking a significant step towards our Chamber’s commitment to serving the Greater Manchester business community.

As part of the Greater Manchester Chamber’s new staffing model, this role is the first of its kind in recent Chamber history. The Director of Membership & Sponsorship will assist in the advancement of the Chamber’s mission by engaging the business community through collaboration and investment while directing the Chamber’s signature fundraising programs. Horst will activate staff, volunteers, and stakeholders to innovate new offerings that enhance the GMC’s positioning in the business community and value proposition to its members.

Horst brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of the GMC’s mission, having been actively involved in the organization’s Manchester Young Professionals (MYP) programming since 2018. Serving as the Chair of the MYP Young Leaders Council, Horst also held an Ex Officio Board of Directors seat on the GMC Board, demonstrating her commitment to the Chamber’s vision and bringing a unique blend of expertise and dedication to her new position.

Horst comes from a nonprofit development background, with a focus on community relations, events and nurturing relationships with volunteers, partners, and stakeholders. Most recently, she held the role of Development & Marketing Director at the Manchester Police Athletic League. Prior to that, Horst was the Community Relations Events and Project Coordinator at Dartmouth Health Childrens. Horst is a graduate of the Leadership Greater Manchester Class of 2018 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies from the University of Connecticut in Storrs, CT.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Horst is actively involved in various community organizations, serving on the boards of FeedNH, The Elliot Perry Foundation, and the Miss New Hampshire Scholarship Program. She is a member of the Women’s Business League of New Hampshire and held the title of Miss New Hampshire from 2015-2016.
