The GMC Appoints Board Chair and Elects Four New Board Members

The Greater Manchester Chamber (GMC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Cookson as board chair and the election of new members to the GMC Board of Directors (BOD). Matt Cookson is President & CEO of Cookson Communications and will serve a two-year term as Chair. New board members will include Dr. Greg Baxter, President, Elliot Health Systems; Talesha Saint-Marc, Shareholder, Bernstein Shur, PA; Ken Senus, CEO, St. Mary’s Bank; and Jodie Nazaka, Economic Development Director, City of Manchester.

Additional Updates

Trinnie Houghton of Rippleffect Consulting will continue to serve on the GMC BOD in the new role of Vice Chair, and Genella McDonald of Stibler Associates will now serve as Past Chair. Sheila McNeil of Wipfli will continue to hold the seat on the GMC BOD as Treasurer, Talesha Saint-Mark of Bernstein Shur will assume the role of Legal Counsel, and Ernesto Burden of Yankee Publishing will take over as Secretary.

The GMC thanks Donna Gamache of Eversource Energy, Matt Kfoury of K4E Company, Paul Mailhot of Big Network, Nathan Saller of Bellwether Community Credit Union, and Ovide Lamontagne of Bernstein Shur – all outgoing board members – for their service to the GMC.

The GMC’s BOD is the governing and policymaking body for the organization. The BOD is responsible for ensuring the GMC is accomplishing its mission and implementing the organization’s strategic plan. The BOD is representative of the Chamber’s diverse membership and nominations to the BOD are considered annually.
