T
he holiday season is just around the corner, and small businesses are gearing up for the festive rush. To help support our local entrepreneurs and promote their products and services, the Chamber has rolled out some exciting initiatives for this holiday season. In this blog post, we will highlight three innovative ways in which small businesses can leverage the Chamber’s resources to increase their visibility and engagement during this special time of the year.
Small Business Saturday
Fill out the Small Business Saturday Form Here
Small Business Saturday, celebrated on November 25th this year, is a golden opportunity for local businesses to shine. The Chamber is committed to boosting the promotion of Small Business Saturday and the holiday season as a whole. One way we do this is by creating a comprehensive blog post featuring participating small businesses. To be part of this promotion, all you need to do is fill out the Small Business Saturday Form, detailing what your business has planned for the day and the entire holiday season. Whether you’ll be physically open or offering virtual support, share your strategy, and the Chamber will include it in our round-up. Additionally, the Chamber will provide you with valuable tools and graphics that you can use to promote your business online. This collaborative effort will ensure that your business gets the recognition it deserves during this festive season. Shoppers can make sure to swing by The Bookery on November 25th to grab some Small Business Saturday swag and a printed copy of the blog post!
Manchester Holiday Parade
Participate in the Holiday Parade Ping Pong Giveaway
The Manchester Holiday Parade on December 2nd promises to be a lively and engaging event, and your business can be a part of it in a unique way. The Chamber’s team will be giving away winning ping pong balls to the crowd during the parade. Chamber members have the fantastic opportunity to sponsor these ping pong balls. By filling out a simple form and delivering the prizes (gift cards, certificates, items, etc.) to the Chamber by November 27th, your business can participate.
There is no limit to the value of the items you choose to sponsor, making this an adaptable option for businesses of all sizes. When parade-goers randomly select their prizes, they’ll be directed to visit your business to redeem their prize. This provides a fantastic opportunity to attract new customers. Your organization will also receive recognition on social media and in the Chamber’s newsletter, amplifying your business’s exposure.
Downtown Manchester Passport Program
Sign up for the Downtown Manchester Passport Program 2023
Being part of the Downtown Manchester Passport Program is an excellent way to draw shoppers to your business during the holiday season. To participate, all you need to do is provide a $25 gift card that will be included in a raffle. When shoppers visit your business, they’ll ask you to sign off on their passport, certifying their visit. Completed forms will be submitted, and winners will be selected at random.
Participating in this program not only increases foot traffic to your business but also promotes the collective downtown shopping experience. It’s a win-win for both shoppers and businesses. By joining the program, you position your business as a welcoming and engaging destination for holiday shoppers.
The Chamber is dedicated to supporting small businesses during the holiday season, and these three initiatives offer an excellent opportunity for local entrepreneurs to increase their visibility and engage with the community. By filling out the Small Business Saturday Form, participating in the Holiday Parade Ping Pong Giveaway, and signing up for the Downtown Manchester Passport Program 2023, your business can make the most of this holiday season and connect with new customers. Let’s come together and make this holiday season a time of growth and success for our small businesses.
