Leadership Greater Manchester Applications Now Open for Class of 2027

he Leadership Greater Manchester (LGM) Program, facilitated by the Greater Manchester Chamber, is currently welcoming applications for the Class of 2027.
The application deadline is May 15, 2026.
Over the past three decades, LGM has helped more than 1,250 emerging and established leaders from the Greater Manchester region build meaningful connections, grow professionally, and learn together.
About Leadership Greater Manchester
Leadership Greater Manchester is a renowned leadership development program dedicated to cultivating and empowering leaders who can make a positive difference in the Greater Manchester community. Through a rigorous curriculum, experiential learning opportunities, and networking, Leadership Greater Manchester equips participants with the knowledge and skills needed to address the region’s issues.
LGM begins in August with an orientation and a group retreat in September followed by nine daylong sessions held monthly through June along with two additional sessions (Chamber 101 and Find Your Cause). Each session focuses on a new topic presented by local and state leaders, as well as experts who present issues through lectures, discussions, simulation exercises, and on-site visits.

Out & About
The Leadership Greater Manchester program provides participants with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the region. Over the course of the program, class members will interact with leaders of industries from across the region and state and experience firsthand the opportunities and challenges that exist within Greater Manchester.
Members of the Class of 2027 (still accepting applications), LGM Alumni, and community members are invited to celebrate the Class of 2026 at their Graduation on June 25 at 4:30pm. The Graduation Ceremony will be followed by a networking reception.
