Through the exchange of viewpoints and experiences, participants are exposed to the challenges, opportunities, and vital issues affecting the greater Manchester community.
LGM begins in August with orientation and a group retreat followed by nine daylong sessions held monthly through June. Each session focuses on a new topic presented by local and state leaders, as well as experts who present issues through lectures, discussions, simulation exercises, and on-site visits. Program tuition is $2,000 (usually paid by the employer) and a $100 personal commitment from the participant. Limited partial scholarships are available by request. A donation to the LGM Scholarship Fund provides financial support for those who have been accepted into the program and are in need. LGM is a program of the Greater Manchester, which is a 501(c)6 organization. A contribution to the Chamber’s LGM program is not deductible as a charitable donation for federal income tax purposes.

The Leadership Greater Manchester (LGM) Alumni Network is a cross-section of LGM graduates committed to fostering community and furthering the mission of the GMC and LGM program while making an impact in Greater Manchester. The network will utilize its toolkit to connect with and organize alumni from the 30-plus-year history of the LGM program.
Together, we’re lifting up those in our community with the potential to lead and make an impact.

You are required to fill out personal and company information, complete three ‘Short Answer’ questions, and upload supporting materials (your resume with professional and personal experiences, a letter of recommendation from a leader who you admire in the greater Manchester business community and Employer Commitment Form which can be downloaded here).
