Greater Manchester Chamber Wins Top Award for Communications
T
he Greater Manchester Chamber has been named one of 12 Communications Award of Excellence winners by the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE). ACCE is an association based in Alexandria, Virginia, that has over 1,600 chambers of commerce and related business and economic development organizations as members, representing more than 9,000 professionals in the industry.
ACCE’s Awards for Communications Excellence (ACE) program is designed to showcase top communications and marketing work of chambers of commerce and similar organizations. ACE Awards are judged by industry peers. This year’s panel was comprised of 16 U.S.-based chamber of commerce communications and marketing professionals.
The 12 winning entries will now go on to compete for the Best in Show title within their total annual revenue range category. The three winning entries will be revealed at ACCE’s annual convention in Dallas during the July 17 awards show presented by Comcast Business.
The Winning Campaign
The Greater Manchester Chamber (GMC) was named an Award of Excellence winner for the ACCESS 2023 marketing campaign. This new, annual economic growth conference emphasized creating a strong brand and marketing campaign reflective of Manchester’s diverse history and innovative future. As they aimed to establish ACCESS as a premier annual event for professional development and idea generation throughout New Hampshire and beyond, they ensured the brand represented the entire state, not just Manchester.
The Greater Manchester Chamber team extends a big shout out to local agency, Pivot Creative, for supporting the vision and bringing ACCESS to life in the form of a logo that allowed for dynamism and ingenuity in developing its campaign.
The central theme of ACCESS revolved around growth, and every session throughout the conference dove into the pivotal role that talent, innovation, and livability play in achieving economic success.
A panel of communications and marketing professionals from 16 U.S.-based chambers of commerce evaluated entries submitted for this year’s competition. Entries were organized by category — based on the chamber’s annual revenue — and entry type: audio/videos, campaigns, print and electronic publications and websites
