Residents and Downtown Employees Enjoy a Picnic in Victory Park

In early August, the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce hosted a Picnic in Victory Park presented by Wells Fargo Advisors. The event brought together hundreds of downtown employees, stakeholders, and community members to the park for lunch, games and networking. It was a free event with a variety of food vendors and activities for picnic goers to participate in. 92.5 the River emceed the event and provided music throughout.

Food vendors included: Prime Time Grilled Cheese, Stone and Fire Pizza, Forking Awesome, NH Food Bank Catering, JD’s Tavern and 110 Grill.

Activities included a kickboxing class courtesy of The Training Station, a visit from Max and the Manchester Monarchs, a labyrinth experience from the New Hampshire Institute of Art, tables from the YMCA, NH Job Corps, NH Girl Scouts, Manchester City Library, Perfect Dental the Individual Fitness “Fit Wheels,” and ManchVegas Brew Bus. The Manchester Police and Fire Department joined in the fun and socialized with guests. Additionally,  Mayor Joyce Craig made a guest appearance and said a few words.

The sun shined throughout the picnic so participants could get outside the office and enjoy the beauty of Victory Park!
