At the Greater Manchester Chamber Annual Dinner and Citizen of the Year Celebration
Michael L’Ecuyer, President & CEO of Bellwether Community Credit Union (BCCU), was named Citizen of the Year at the Greater Manchester Chamber (GMC) 2019 Annual Dinner and Citizen of the year Celebration on Thursday, April 18th at the Doubletree by Hilton Manchester Downtown, presented by Eastern Bank. This event sold out, with over 800 members of the business community in attendance to show their support.
The evening began with a reception for all Past Citizens of the Year and event sponsors, hosted by Eversource. Attendees entered through an artistic Oracle balloon arch and enjoyed a cocktail reception sponsored by Bellwether Community Credit Union. A convenient registration process was courtesy of Dartmouth Hitchcock and Bank of America. During the cocktail reception, guests documented the evening with a photo booth, provided by Great NH Restaurants. Before dinner began, Past Citizens of the Year were paraded through the crowd thanks to UNH Manchester, and table settings were enjoyed courtesy of Infinite Equities Group, LLC. Guests found a program at each of their seats, thanks to Wipfli/Howe Riley & Howe, and a selfie stick at each table, thanks to People’s United Bank. The main course was sponsored by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, wine sponsored by LaBelle Winery, champagne sponsored by Brady Sullivan Properties, and following dinner, a dessert reception was sponsored by AutoFair. Due to the support of Catholic Medical Center, NBT Bank and TD Bank, an inspiring video about Michael was played during the event. The entire vibe event was made possible by Events United.
The theme of the evening was represented in the words used to describe our honoree, Michael L’Ecuyer: Neighborly, Uplifting, Noble, Devoted, Gracious, Charitable. The décor for the celebration and the incredible centerpieces, sponsored by St. Mary’s Bank was designed by Spectrum Marketing Companies and Print NH.
