Ann Makowski

Ann Makowski joined the Chamber in 2001 and serves as Chief Financial Officer.

She is responsible for recordkeeping, financial planning, and reporting of accurate and timely information to the CEO and the Chamber’s Finance Committee, which reports to its board of directors. She holds a B.S. from Bridgewater State University. Ann and her husband Stan and have two sons, Paul and Dan.

What is an aspect of the Chamber’s work that you think is critical to the success of the community?

The Chamber encourages sound infrastructure, expanded transportation options, a vital downtown, and workforce development; all done as an initiative to improve the quality of life and vitality of the region.

Where is a place would you recommend people visit if they were new to Manchester or the region?

The Manchester Welcome Center; it will point you in the direction of your passion. Is it a show, a museum, a great restaurant, a specialty shop, or sporting event? We have it all!
