Member Relations Specialist

As Member Relations Specialist with the GMC, I am  focused on strengthening and supporting member relations functions. At our core, we are a membership organization that exists to serve our business community!”

Jocelyn is responsible for assisting in the advancement of the Chamber’s mission, strategic plan, membership goals, programs and events by providing customer service, member engagement and event planning support.  A major focus area of Jocelyn’s is to serve as the staff point person on updates to the membership database and customer service requests from Chamber members and the public.

Jocelyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Keene State College in Keene, NH. She is a graduate of the Leadership Greater Manchester Class of 2020 and is the GMC Staff Liaison to the Manchester Young Professionals (MYP) Advisory Council, the MYP Executive Council, and the MYP Membership Committee.

What is an aspect of the Chamber’s work that you think is critical to the success of the community?

The GMC supports several workforce development initiatives focused on keeping young professionals in our community. Our workforce development initiatives include programming with the Manchester Young Professionals, collaboration with the Manchester School District, unifying nonprofit efforts, and aligning training programs to meet the workforce needs of Manchester area businesses.

Where is a place you would recommend people visit if they were new to Manchester or the region?

If you’re a foodie like me I would recommend taking advantage of the greater Manchester area microbreweries and other fine dining experiences like The Crown Tavern. The atmospheres range from fun, high energy to romantic. If you ever want to see a show, The Palace Theatre and Rex Theatre is where it’s at!

What is unique about your role at the Chamber?

My role is unique because I assist in the advancement of the Chamber’s mission, strategic plan, membership goals, programs and events by providing customer service, member engagement, and event planning support.
